Councillor Tyler Vargo was born in Kipling and raised on a cattle and grain farm south of Town. Tyler graduated from Kipling High School in 2005 and entered the work force. Tyler has been employed in the Operations Division of the oilfield for 11 years and is currently a Lead Operator for Ridgeback Resources.
Tyler enjoys coaching Minor Baseball and also plays for the Kipling Royals Senior Baseball Team. Along with baseball, Tyler enjoys playing hockey, golf, camping, and spending time at the lake.
Tyler is married to his wife Kayla who is the Principal of Broadview School and together they have three children, Sawyer, Laekyn, and Kai.
