The Mission Statement of Kipling Community Development is:

      To improve the quality of life in the community and stimulate economic   development in the Town of Kipling.

The Goals of Kipling Community Development are:

  • To achieve the highest standard of living as possible for our citizens.
  • To promote a positive image for the Town of Kipling through both conventional and unconventional methods.
  • To attract economic development to the region through our membership in the Moose Mountain Central Rural Development Co-operative (MMCRDC)
  • To promote our community as an oil and agricultural service centre.
  • To assist in capacity building and infrastructure planning to create future economic growth.
  • To foster economic growth by creating a community that is receptive to moving forward with entrepreneurs
  • To assist businesses in becoming rewarding and profitable.
  • To provide personal assistance to the people of Kipling so they may achieve their individual goals.

The Objectives of Kipling Community Development are:

  1. To identify the unique strengths and opportunities that exist within our community based on our history, geography, natural resources and changes in the marketplace.
  2. To welcome new residents to our Community by providing a Community Welcome Package which includes Town Information and promotions from local businesses.
  3. To develop policy initiatives for the consideration of Town Council based on research into the economic development profession and its best practices.
  4. Conduct a labour market survey to assess shortages and opportunities in the local labour force.
  5. To assist the Kipling Chamber of Commerce in hosting our bi-annual Spring Trade Show

Goals for Growth

    In March of 2006 the Kipling Town Council set a goal for community growth.

   The Town of Kipling shall reach a population 1800 persons by the year 2025.
